Exhibition: REVIVAL: Survivors’ Stories

June 25-September 10, 2023
Presented with The Generations Project

About the Exhibition:

From June 2021 to June 2022, The Generations Project facilitated community-based workshops and produced a series of four live storytelling shows at the New York City AIDS Memorial. “Revival: Survivors’ Stories” highlights the experiences of long-term HIV survivors, as well as friends and loved ones of those we have lost. Their heartfelt stories recount trials as well as tribulations. This installation is intended to activate the Memorial with the real voices of those impacted by HIV/AIDS and to allow these stories to be heard by all who pass by, honoring this history and spreading a message of resilience, community and hope.

The “Revival: Suvivors’ Stories” exhibition is on view along Greenwich Avenue between 7th Avenue and West 12th Street through September 2023. You can read more about the previous storytelling programs here.
