On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Art2Action, Inc., Greenwich House Music School, The New York City AIDS Memorial, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, and Village Preservation will hold A Village Gathering at the New York City AIDS Memorial Park. It will be a space for reflection, remembrance, and creative expression. This event, held under the shade of the AIDS Memorial, and surrounding park grounds will offer attendees and passersby a communal experience to mark this day. There will be an opportunity for community members to record their own stories as part of this event.
