John Giorno Book Launch at the NYC AIDS Memorial

On October 1, 2020 the New York City AIDS Memorial was proud to partner with the John Giorno Foundation, the Brooklyn Rail, Karma Bookstore and Farrar, Straus & Giroux to present the launch of John Giorno’s memoir, Great Demon Kings. The outdoor, socially-distanced evening of readings and remarks included appearances by Phong Bui, Laura Hoptman, Penny Arcade, Elizabeth Kley, Jamison Fitzpatrick, Lee Ranaldo, and Leah Singer among others.
