Saint Vincent’s Project: Novenas For a Lost Hospital

The NYC Memorial was featured in the New York Times for it’s role in a unique, immersive performance titled, Saint Vincent’s Project: Novenas For a Lost Hospital. Playwrite Cusi Cram tells the New York Times, “the play grew from discussions with Rattlestick’s artistic director, Danielle Topol, about moving theater outside the walls of a building.”

Saint Vincent’s Project explores the 160-year-old history of the hospital and commemorates the heroes who dedicated their lives to caring for its patients. The performance closes with a procession of the audience to the New York City AIDS Memorial.
