Sun, December 1, 2019, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM EST
at Saint John’s In the Village, 218 West 11th Street, New York, NY 10014

Carols by Candlelight: an Advent Sequence for World AIDS Day will be sung by the professional Choir of St John’s in the Village in collaboration with the Choir of Dignity New York, an LGBTQ group which meets regularly at St John’s.

Music by Arvo Pärt, Jacob Handl, Boris Ord, Thomas Morley, and many other composers including congregational and community carols.

A collection will be taken for the upkeep of the New York City AIDS Memorial, which is just a stone’s throw from St John’s.

The carols, to which those of all faiths or of none are welcome, are followed by a seasonal hot mulled wine reception (with soft drink options) in Revelation Gallery, the art gallery of St John’s.

Free, but registration is helpful for catering purposes.
